Solar Battery System

A Solar Battery system , similar to any kind of battery, simply stores energy. As a solar battery is connected to a Solar panel system, it is able to store any surplus (excess) solar energy that a system generates. Without a solar battery connected to your Solar PV System any surplus energy would be sent back to the National Grid.

However, with a solar battery connected, that extra electricity generated by Solar Panels can be stored and used when your home is demanding more energy than your Solar Panels are generating. This is particularly useful for during the evening and night, when the sun is no longer out, meaning your Solar Panels are unlikely to generate.
